THE MATCHUP - After picking up its first win of the season Saturday, Washington University in St. Louis begins a two-game road trip Saturday, Sept. 27, at Centre College. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. (ET) at Farris Stadium.

Washington U. will play its 999th game in school history on Saturday at Centre. The Bears have compiled a 503-467-28 (.518) in 118 seasons of football on the Danforth Campus. 

THE SERIES - Washington University and Centre are meeting for the 19th time in school history – but for the second time since 1984. Washington U. leads the all-time series with Centre, 10-7-1. The teams first met in 1931.

THE COACHES - Head coach Larry Kindbom (Kalamazoo, 1974) is in his 26th season at Washington University in St. Louis, with a record of 157-97 (.618). His 157 wins rank him as the all-time winningest coach at Washington U. Overall, in 31 seasons, Kindbom is 185-127-1 (.591).

Centre College head coach Andy Frye (Muskingum, 1981) is in his 26th season at Centre, and 17th as head coach. Frye served as the Associate Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Centre prior to being named head coach in 1998. He has posted a 103-60 (.632) overall record at Centre.
